Handmade Crocheted Bookmarks Review

Recently I was given the opportunity to review handmade crocheted bookmarks, and I received three.  I was able to choose the colors I wanted, so I picked colors that two of my children liked as well as one for myself. My kids helped me review the bookmarks.

The kids like the bookmarks because they are very colorful.  They also liked them because they said they were able to put the bookmarks in their pocket to take to school, and they are bendable and return to their shape. I like the bookmarks because they won't rip and they will last a lot longer than the traditional bookmarks. They can fall apart as with any crocheted item, so you must care for them as you would anything else crocheted.  The bookmarks are crocheted with 30 stitches long and they were made out of acrylic yarn and they are machine washable. To clean mine it was recommended by the maker that I use cold water, and dry them on low heat.  The bookmarks are the right size for any book and and the book closes properly just like it would with any other traditional bookmark.

Handmade products are more than just a product. There is love, creativity and uniqueness. My favorite reason to buy handmade items is just that - it's handmade, which means quality, and a whole lot of love! Someone else is using their talent to create gifts and decor that I myself can't make.

If you would like to purchase handmade bookmarks at an affordable price visit La DolceVita  at the Etsy shop. La Dolce Vita has graciously offered my readers 15% off as well. When you check out use coupon code DEBSDOLLARS to receive your 15 % off. All items are made in a pet-free and smoke-free home.

I received three bookmarks mentioned above for free for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own. No other monetary compensation was given. I only recommend products or services I use personally, and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commissions 16 CFR, Part 255 Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.

I adore crocheted bookmarks for the same reason. I bend and break most carboard bookmarks and even when they are laminated you end up with that terrible folded plastic look if you ever dare bend them.
These colors are fab, too!
