Mario Badescu Skin Care Products Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

As a 30+ year old mom I noticed some sun spots on my skin as well as fine lines around my eye area and my skin is oily.  I was recently given the opportunity to review some products from the Mario Badescu Skin Care line which was established in 1967. Several skin care products were sent to me to try, and I also received a regimen that was specially customized for my skin type as well as skin issues.

The first skin care product from the Mario Badescu line I want to share with you is the Enzyme Cleansing Gel. This cleansing gel does not foam up but it removes all of your makeup and dirt without drying out your skin. This gel has Papaya and Grapefruit Extracts in it which are very good exfoliating Alpha Hydroxy Acids which helps prevent build up that can cause blackheads and blemishes. The Enzyme Cleansing Gel is Mario Badescu's best selling daily cleanser and I can see why, because it's made my face feel so clean and I did not have any breakouts or blackheads while using this product. It was simple to use I just put some on my fingers and applied it in a circular motion and removed it with lukewarm water and then I patted my skin dry, and I did this twice a day. I liked how my skin felt so clean after using this, and my face wasn't oily it was just fresh and clean. I had no dryness in my T zone like I end up with afterward with other cleansing products.
The next product I tried was the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion.  My skin felt deeply cleaned and refreshed after using this lotion. I love facial products with cucumber in it because I know it's a very good ingredient for your skin.  The Cucumber Cleansing Lotion does help to remove clogged pores and it also disinfects your skin and helps prevent future breakouts.  You apply this by using a cotton ball you simply wipe in an upward motion until the cotton ball is clean, and you apply this twice a day and follow with the moisturizer or night cream. This was another product I really liked and I have not had any breakouts or blackheads since using this product in conjunction with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel, and in the past I've always had breakouts and blackheads so I was very happy with this product.
The Glycolic Foaming Cleanser foams and lathers very well. It deep cleans and has the exfoliating power of Glycolic Acid which breaks down build up from your skins surface. This foaming cleanser will help to reduce minor discoloration as well as leave your skin beautiful and radiant . Since it's formulated with Herbal Extracts for soothing benefits your face will feel soft and smooth. It's recommended that you use the foaming cleanser 2-3 times a week. I love it so I used it 3 times a week. It was easy to apply I simply massaged the cleanser onto my face and then I rinsed my face with lukewarm water and patted it dry.  After using this product my face didn't look so dull it made my face feel smooth and alive and rejuvenated.
I was given the A.H.A. & Ceramide Moisturizer to try as well and this product helps reduce wrinkles and sun damage. This product is gentle and it's oil free. It's an AHA daily moisturizer which has Lemon Extract and soothing Aloe to revive and rejuvenate dull skin.  As with the other products it was easy to apply.  I simply used my finger in a circular motion and covered my face with this non greasy product.  I tried this product and was very impressed it didn't feel greasy at all on my skin. Other moisturizes have felt greasy and I would stop using them because I do have oily skin and don't like the way that feels, so I was very happy this didn't do that.  My skin felt wet for a little while until it absorbed but it didn't take long to dry. I really liked this product because it did help with discoloration on my skin.
The Glycolic Eye Cream is used to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles with it's intense moisture for overnight. It's high in antioxidant Vitamin E and has a blend of oils for a soft and more youthful looking eye area. This was easy to apply with just a little on my finger I went around and under my eye and I left this on overnight as it was recommended. By using excess amounts of this product you can also put it around the delicate lip area as an emollient treatment. I did see results with this and so I was very impressed. The fine lines were smoother which made them almost disappear and even though I'm not getting any younger (My birthday is August 28) I look younger because the wrinkles are fading.

The last product I was able to try was the Flower & Tonic Mask. This is a mask that helps purify congested, bumpy or slightly oily skin types and it also soothes minor redness and irritation. My skin type is oily at times so this was perfect for my skin and I was very excited to try this.

The mask absorbed the dirt and oil from my pores while it was on my skin. As the mask hardened I didn't want to smile or talk so it wouldn't crack so that it could do its job. I left it on for 15 minutes and washed it off with lukewarm water. My face felt tighter but it was soft and smooth. I felt very revived after using the mask and I know my pores were deeply cleaned throughout the process this was definitely a deep clean that my face needed.

I have used these products for quite sometime now and I have not had any breakouts such as acne or blackheads or even white heads like I used to. My face always feels refreshed and deeply cleaned and smooth after using these products. Mario Badescu uses quality ingredients in these products to give you the best skin care regimen possible.  I have lessened or eliminated a lot of the skin issues I had like the fine lines around my eye area and sun spots or aging spots as well as the oily skin. I would recommend these products and I encourage you to visit the Mario Badescu website to learn more. You can also visit become a fan on Facebook or Follow them on Twitter as well as many other social media websites.
