What Daddy Did Today A fathers Bedtime Story Review

Kids often wonder what their daddy does all day and there's a children's book out there that tells it all with a bit of imagination. Recently I was given the opportunity to review a book What Daddy Did Today A fathers Bedtime Story that tells a story about by Walter Wally.

What Daddy Did Today is a great story that fathers can read to their children as a bedtime story.  Since daddy's are busy all day a bed time story is the perfect time to have another special moment with their child and bond with them. All little kids have big imaginations and sometimes they just need help recognizing it.

Throughout the book daddy goes on fun adventurous from rescuing a kitten to talking to a lion. He then comes in contact with a mean dragon that's trying to eat her own cub. He defeats a dragon, rides on a hot air balloon that takes him to space. He meets a sad planet in space that he cheers up, then the hot air balloon flies so high that it pops on a star causing him to fall where he lands on an enormous butterfly. This is a wonderful story portrays dads as the heroes they are and the whole time all dad wanted to do was hurry on home so he could tuck his child into bed.

It's important to read with your children for many reasons such as stimulating there imaginations, it increases their vocabulary and grammar, and it also helps promote the love of reading in the future. Violet's daddy enjoyed reading the story to her. She loves the book so much she's always getting it out to see the colorful pictures. What Daddy Did Today is a great story for dads to share with their children and I highly recommend it.
